Nicole Polanco first came across flags while watching an Aladdin show at Disneyland. She was mesmerized and instantly sought out her first pair. Having spent the last few years as a professional dancer in Spain, she experienced a personal transformation through finding her flow with flags. She took her flagging skills to Europe and spent a summer entertaining crowds at various festivals. Upon her return to the U.S., she dedicated herself to making flags and spreading the art. Nicole is also a yoga instructor and singer/songwriter.

Scott Stanley has spent his life working in entertainment: singing/dancing on stages across the U.S., producing videos for the U.S. Government, and working on Emmy-award winning television shows. Scott learned flag-dancing in 2010, and ever since has cultivated his talents as a flag maker, performer, and teacher. Under the name “Spin Your World” he made and sold dozens of sets for use in schools, festivals and parades, and taught movement and dye workshops. In 2012 he brought flags to reality television as a contestant on “The Great Food Truck Race” on the Food Network. (His team took 3rd place.) In 2014 he and his associates formed Flow Flags™.
